Walker Tutoring offers one-on-one tutoring services to students of all ages. We tutor students in math,  science, test prep, English/language arts, Spanish, and study skills. We are currently looking for experienced  educators to help families with in person learning in the following areas:

  • High School Science Tutor

We are currently looking for a tutor or tutors with experience tutoring students in chemistry and/or physics.

Required:
-Bachelor’s degree
-Experience tutoring chemistry and/or physics through the AP level
-A joy in the challenge of finding many ways to explain concepts
-Extensive one-on-one education experience
-A strong desire to help all students succeed
-An ability to communicate appropriately with students, parents, and school systems
-Flexible afternoon and evening schedule
-Vibrant, warm, engaging personality with a knack for connecting with students
-Organized and detail oriented around record keeping and communication
-Commitment through school year ‘25-’26 (longer preferred)

Preferred:
-Certified teacher
-Ability to tutor additional subjects and ages (including college)
-Experience working with students with special needs
-Understanding of needs of homeschooled students
-Longer commitment
